I was born in Mexico and arrived in the United States to complete high school in El Paso, Texas, where my father is a native. I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Fine Arts Major which led me to work for a large Hispanic television network for a few years, until I followed my true dream and pursued a career in education. I moved to Colorado in 2003 and have been with Denver Public schools for over eight years in various roles. My love for teaching and building relationships with students brought me back to the classroom. I am so happy to be a part of the Green Valley Elementary community. During my free time, I love to travel with my husband and our two boys. I love beaches, Italian food, dogs (I have 3), playing the piano, and bike riding on the weekends. Most of all, I am very excited to be serving the students and the community at Green Valley.
