Welcome To Green Valley Elementary

Green Valley is located in the Far northeast section of Denver.  We opened doors in 2000.  Over the last 9 years, we have seen many changes in our community, staff and students.  The greatest aspect is that we have maintained high expectations through all these changes.  We proudly claim to be one of the biggest elementary schools in Denver Public Schools.

With our size come many advantages.  We boast strong grade level teams.  Among each grade level we are able to support our native Spanish speaking students with a highly qualified teacher.

Our State and District test scores have steadily increased in recent years.  We feel as though this is due to the hard work and dedication of our students, staff and parents.  In Early Education, Green Valley has 4 sessions of Early Childhood Education (one in Spanish).  We also have 4 full day Kindergarten classes.  We challenge our students with daily Specials classes-Physical Education, Drama, Visusal Arts, Library/Media and Technology.  We also offer many after school programs and we add more every year.
