Expectations for the remainder of the year will not change. There is still learning that needs to take place, preparing our students for the 2012-2013 school year. Students are expected to come in uniform every day, meet rituals and routines and complete homework daily. Students failing to meet those expectations will lose privileges.

However, I am very pleased to share that a majority of our students are doing an amazing job at this point! I thank all my parents for your continued support!!

Councilman Christopher Herndon visits GVE ECE class!

We had the pleasure of having Councilman Christopher Herndon visit our classroom (ECE-Mrs. Gibb) on Thursday, May 19.  Every year in April The Denver Preschool Program gives out free books to the children.  This year the free book is “Maybe A Bear Ate It!  By Robie H. Harris and Michael Emberley.  Councilman Herndon came to read this book to our children.  We had a good time.  The children enjoyed his company as well as the book.  Thank you Councilman Herndon for taking the time to visit with us at  Green Valley Elementary School.
